AI automation for Sales

We’re in early innings of AI adoption and are seeing needs for AI tools across specific stages of the Sales process.

Here are 10 tools we’ve either help deploy, seen deploy, or have heard of successful deployments across our clients and prospects.  We’ve broken these out by Sales stage and use case for more clear delineation.  

 

Outbound Sales Tools

 

  1. Copy AI – Primarily used for outbound sales to create personalized emails and content for prospects. It helps sales reps craft more effective outreach messages based on prospect data from Salesforce or HubSpot.
  2. Crystal and Humantic AI – These tools are particularly valuable for outbound prospecting, as they analyze public data to predict communication preferences and DiSC styles of prospects before you even reach out to them. This helps tailor initial outreach for better response rates.
  3. KnowledgeNet.ai – A pre-funnel tool focused on outbound strategy, helping you leverage LinkedIn connections to find prospects and build strategic partnerships.

Inbound Sales Tools

 

  1. AI Agents for Qualification – Specifically designed for inbound qualification to handle technical questions, scheduling, and immediate support for inbound inquiries. These agents can qualify leads before they reach human sales reps.

  2. Sandler Sales Hub – This tool integrates Sandler methodology into your CRM and is especially useful during the closing stages, providing coaching cues and content to help sales reps navigate complex closing situations.

Multi-Stage Tools (Used Across Inbound, Outbound, and Closing)

 

  1. Sandler AI Role Play Coach – This tool provides one-to-one AI-driven practice and targeted feedback before sales calls, making it useful across all stages of the sales process.
  2. HubSpot’s Prospecting Agent – While primarily for outbound, this tool can also help with moving deals through the pipeline toward closing.

 

Caveat:  there are soooo many tools out there right now, certainly I’ve missed a few, but these are common ones coming up in conversations we’re active in.

Many companies are finding the most immediate impact of AI in sales enablement, particularly in account research and personalization of emails for outbound efforts. However, the trend is moving toward implementing AI across the entire sales process for a more integrated approach
